LITHOGRAPHY

Lithography is a printing procedure that consists of trace a drawing, text or transfer a photograph to a limestone or plate metallic.

In this technique, the different adhesion between hydrophilic and hydrophobic substances is used. In other words, in the parts where there are greasy inks the water rejects them and therefore they will be the parts where the inkthere it will adhere and the drawing will be stamped.

To carry out a design manually is they use greasy and resinous inks to trace the drawing that is will reproduce, which is fixed by means of a solution of nitric acid and gum arabic.
