LA MIRADA SCHOOL WALL

Escola La Mirada is a public school in Sant Cugat located in Volpalleres. This is a school that was born in 2016 and has been in barracks since the beginning, waiting for the new school promised for so many years to finally be built.

Faced with the delay in the aforementioned construction, the management team decides to intervene in the wall that limits the small school yard in order to make it more welcoming.

This mural was conceived as a collaborative action with the older students of the school (4th grade). The children decorated the wall by creating a background with colored spots to be able to carry out a later intervention by creating drawings of invented plants online.

Precisely the fact of using invented and not real plants refers to the rich imaginary world of a child's mind.
