"Reverdir" has been made in etching and aquatint on a 10x10 cm copper plate printed on a 20x20 cm paper.

Both are indirect techniques of intaglio engraving. The first consists of applying a layer of varnish on the plate to raise the areas where we want the drawing and immersing it in acid. This acid eats the parts not protected by the varnish and thus generates lines that will make up the drawing we will print.

On the other hand, the aquatint is similar to the etching but in this case, a resin is applied to the plate which, when heated, remains attached. Then the areas that we don't want the acid to eat are covered and immersed in the acid that gently dissolves the surface in the areas that are not covered by the resin.

In this case, only 5 copies have been made on Michel paper of 240 grams in raw color.
